Match Preview: Can the Os Scuttle the Pilgrims' Progress?

This game against Plymouth is something of a rarity – it’s being played on a Saturday. The return fixture in late March 2027 returns to its traditional midweek slot, in line with the last six meetings between the teams – three league games and three cup games dating back to October 2019.
Argyle’s isolation from the rest of the football world is well documented, and while Plymouth is our second longest way trip, Orient is one of their closer games, being a shade under 200 miles each way. They head the travel table for League One, clocking up a whopping 4,869 miles, way ahead of Blackpool in second with 2,990 miles.
