Match preview: Taking a punt on Orient against Cambridge United

And here we are -- the M11 derby returns after one fallow season, with the first leg having a distinctly ghoulish feel to it. Can Orient put the frighteners on our local(ish) rivals or will the Us scare us into submission on this Halloween?

Cambridge is the nearest thing to a local derby that we have, and they get visitor rights first this season, with our always much-anticipated away day in the Fens coming at the end of January.

The Us have got off to a flying start in League One after their brief sojourn in the basement division and are sitting pretty in seventh place. They bagged a draw away at Hillsborough on Tuesday night, extending their unbeaten away record to 10 points out of 18 on the road.

Their two previous visits to Hillsborough in the 21/22 and 22/23 seasons resulted in 6-0 and 5-0 defeats respectively, which does rather suggest that Cambridge are a somewhat different proposition this season, and are showing much more resilience on the road.
