Team news: Edmonds-Green, Boniface and O’Neill return to the starting XI

Welcome to E10, where it’s a hazy Halloween morning ahead of today’s early kick-off at Brisbane Road.

Orient have named a really interesting starting XI and look set to line up in their expected 4-2-3-1 formation. Nathan Baxter starts in goal, with Finn Stevens at right-back and Rarmani Edmonds-Green making his first Orient start in well over a year after his lengthy ACL lay-off. He partners Alfie Gilchrist at centre-back in what is a slightly short defensive pairing.

It is also great to see Somto Boniface back in the starting XI, making his first start since August following a lengthy spell out through injury.

Idris El Mizouni and Alex Gilbert provide the anchors in midfield, with Armando Dobra expected to operate as the number 10. Ollie O’Neill makes his first start of the season from the right, Aaron Connolly starts from the left and Jaze Kabia leads the line.

There is plenty of strength on the bench too. Noah Phillips is the substitute goalkeeper, while Joseph Olowu has passed his concussion protocols and is available again after the injury he suffered away at Reading. Isaac Hayden, Dane Scarlett, Yusuf Akhamrich, Charlie Wellens and Tony Springett complete a strong group of options.

It all makes for an appealing afternoon in E10.
