OK, we know we said this site would be totally ad-free, but allow us this one please ... because the venerable Daniel Gray is about to publish a book all about the history of the independent football press -- or "fanzines" to give them their street name.
We're really proud to have been part of this project and to feature in it. For that reason alone, we'd commend the book to you, but Daniel is a canny lad and an extremely accomplished author too. Although we haven't seen the manuscript, we're sure it's going to be a great read.
But if you do require any more persuasion, why not join us at The Volley near Old Street on 28th September for the launch event? That'll definitely be a great evening, and if you've not been down to The Volley yet, this is as good an excuse as any to check out London's newest hipster football hangout. Admission is free, although you can pay to secure a copy of Daniel's book, which he'll be happy to sign if you like.
