On Saturday we make the short trip to Bedfordshire to play one of the League One promotion favourites and our League One alphabetical nearest neighbours Luton Town.
This is likely to be one of our tougher away games of the season. They got a 5-2 battering away at Mansfield Town on Sunday and then on Wednesday night were victorious at home in the battle of the Hatters. So it’s shaping up to be a game between two currently inconsistent teams looking to cement a winning run of games.
Luton - the place
Luton is super old - we're talking 6th century AD. The town's name, originally "Lygea-tun", means "town on the River Lea" (something it has in common with Leyton).
