Tuesday night sees us make the 15-mile road trip to the outer reaches of South East London to play Bromley FC for only the fifth time in our history, and the first time in the EFL. In our four National League encounters they have three wins to our one, including the 6-1 drubbing in 2017 which Os fans still shudder over.
Both teams will be looking to bounce back from heavy defeat at the weekend, in Bromley’s case a 7-2 thrashing at Sheffield Wednesday after which Andy Woodman slammed his team’s lack of bravery and discipline and said that they’d never played so badly under him. You'd think that we'd also lost 7-2 from some of the over-reactions going on, nevertheless it was a poor performance against Barnsley.
