Nick Oyekunle as the O’s look to regain control after Arsenal’s late equaliser before the break.

Dane Scarlett is on for the second half, replacing goalscorer Nick Oyekunle after 45 minutes.

It’s a useful opportunity for Scarlett to get some valuable minutes under his belt and continue building his match fitness.

Orient looked to have the first half largely under control after Nick Oyekunle’s opener, but Arsenal began to push with more purpose in the closing stages.

Their pressure eventually told just before the break, with the Arsenal right winger in the yellow boots cutting across the box and drilling a powerful low strike beyond Oliver Dovin to level the scores.

We haven’t been provided with an Arsenal team sheet tonight, which makes identifying some of their players a little trickier from the press box, but the visitors certainly finished the half strongly.

Orient initially defend well, with Idris El Mizouni and James Morris both clearing danger, but Arsenal are increasing the pressure in search of an equaliser.

It arrives in style. The Arsenal right winger drifts across the box, collects the ball on the left-hand side and drills a powerful low effort into the bottom-right corner beyond Oliver Dovin. 1-1.

After a good spell of possession, Will Forrester finds James Morris down the left.

Morris delivers into the area for Theo Archibald, who throws himself towards the cross but can’t quite make the connection.

Excellent defending from Sean Clare to prevent Arsenal from creating a clear chance.

A pass looks set to release the winger in behind, but Clare reads the danger superbly, races across to intercept and clears.

Excellent save from Oliver Dovin, who makes himself big in a one-on-one to prevent Arsenal from equalising.

Theo Archibald then does well to complete the defensive job and clear the danger.

It takes a touch and earns Orient a corner, which Sean Clare nearly turns in at the near post.

Tony Springett thinks he is in after bringing down a long ball over the top, but the assistant referee has his flag up for offside.

Idris El Mizouni dallies on the ball at the edge of the area and is dispossessed.

The loose ball nearly breaks kindly for Armando Dobra, but it just evades him before he can take advantage.

Nick Oyekunle is played in with a good chance to double Orient’s lead, but the striker drags his shot wide of the target. A real opportunity to make it 2-0.

Sean Clare tries his luck from the right-hand side, but the Arsenal goalkeeper gets down well to save at his near post and keep Orient’s lead at 1-0.
